As a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to five active boys, time is not always something I have a lot of but I decided this year to jump into the blogging world. Do I have any clue what I am doing? Absolutely not. Like everything else I get myself into, I will eventually figure it out.
Until then, I hope you enjoy spending time with our adventurous family and 24-hour circus. I’m just an ordinary mom (nope, no super powers here), who at the moment happens to be in the middle of converting our junk-food eating kids to healthy diets (12 years of Cheetos and hot dogs is a hard habit to break, folks); learning how to make my own food and beauty products from scratch (my kitchen has become a science lab); discovering new things everyday as I am blessed to educate my boys in our home; and like so many other moms, just trying to do the best job I can raising my children. While it is not always easy and there are days (okay, days upon days) I struggle at my job, I love being a mother to five boys and the laughter it brings.
Of course, my sanity (or I should say what little is left) is held there by my partner and rock, Will (a.k.a, “The Dadinator”). We make quite a team and while our marriage is not perfect (come on, guys…lets be real; there are no “perfect” marriages), ours stands firm in Christ. He is the head of our family; the Lord of our lives; and the reason we are able to lie in bed peacefully at night knowing He will be there to help us conquer the next day.
With that said, I hope you are encouraged by an everyday mom with unbelievable stories. (And yes, whatever it was really happened.)
I am so excited for you to start this!!! Can’t wait to read more….
So proud of you Krysta. We are grateful for all the lives you have touched and the young men you and Will are raising to be wonderful warriors for Christ.
Thank-you both so much! I really appreciate your support.
So glad you are getting all these *adventures* down in writing… can’t wait to hear more 🙂
Thanks, Shirley! I am excited to share them.

Oh my, five boys!! I can only imagine the fun and chaos of your everyday living. Looking forward to experiencing a piece of it vicariously through you. 🙂
